It's very convenient to shop in Berlin. Relative to other major tourist cities in Germany and Europe, Berlin's shops offer a cheap and large selection. Many hotels are situated near the tourist centers. Of the six major shopping centers in Berlin, three are located in District Mitte:
A. Shops around Friedrichstrasse.
B. Hackescher Markt and its surroundings.
C. Alexander's Square (Alexanderplatz).

E. Another shopping center is situated in Prenzlauer Berg around the streets Schoenhauser Allee and Kastanienallee.
F. The large shopping center in Steglitz Quarter, along Schlossstrasse.
Shopping lovers who lodge at remote districts, other than the ones mentioned here should not be worried. Berlin has many shopping centers. It's not difficult to find them. They always are placed near big urban train or subway stations.
